blue room productions ben green

Ben Green is a Washington DC based musician, producer and engineer, who designed the functionality of Studio A in Blue Room Productions Herndon, and oversaw the construction process. He is the driving force behind SEAS, and is a founding member of the band Fairweather, whose landmark records in the early 2000s inspired a generation of melodic punk rockers, and whose single, Alaska landed on the Billboard Hot 200 Singles chart in 2002. During that time, he spent seemingly countless months on tour, played nearly a thousand shows, and experienced the high and low points that go hand in hand with being in a working band.

As a producer and engineer, Ben’s clients include Benjy Ferree, Melodime, Highway Cross, Beasts of No Nation, Loud Boyz, His Dream Of Lions, Duffy Kane, Equal Vision Records, Magic Bullet Records, Cricket Cemetery Records, and many others.

In 2014, Ben had two singles land in the top 10 of both the New Music Weekly Top 40 chart, and the Digital Radio Tracker chart, one for His Dream of Lions “Novel” and one for Eddy Faulkner’s “I Wont Give Up”.

Ben’s approach to production and engineering is rooted in focusing the aesthetic and philosophical presence of each artist he works with, and capturing their performances as genuinely as possible – while keeping a mindful sense of excellent product quality and arrangement. Ben also teaches the audio engineering, production and amplifier building courses in Herndon.

He hopes to give every client a professional, flexible and unique sounding experience.
